People and Cinema.

During today's lesson, we surveyed many people in the class and asked them about whether they went to cinema in the past week or not. We took down their names and asked them about the cinema, where it was based and what they brought.
The first result we recieved was from Purdey. She went to VUE cinema as it was the closest to her and brought a ticket for £1.25 as it was Kids AM. The films she watched was Mr.Poppers Penguins and the cinema was packed out with little children. She brought popcorn along side the film ticket for something to go with the film which cost £5.
Secondly, Luke went to a cinema up north which had only 2 screens and has 3 people running it. He watched Johnny English Reloaded. He didn't like it and fell asleep through it. He went around 12pm in the day and it has a video and game buying area.
Another person is Katie who watched The Lion King 3D in Rugby Cineworld as it was close to her. She brought a Fanta Freeze which cost £2.80 and she liked the movie. She went about 5pm with Luke. The cinema was half full and the 3D was only average, the glasses cost a quid.
Lauren is going to watch Paranormal Activity 3 today with her friends at VUE cinema. She is going there with her friends and going there because it's close to her. She will buy nachos from there which cost about £4 and i believe this film will have many more people watching it, including me because it is made for us as a target audience and because it is a sequel it will be more interesting.

Overall, people spend about £10 on average in the cinema- which most of it will go towards the cinema ticket. The cinema only makes 10% of the ticket price as most of it goes to the film. Our age usually enjoys romcoms, scary movies and disney films. Many people always buy some food to compliment them at the cinema to eat whilst watching it.
